Did you ever have a moment when you realized just how much you are reliant on a very small detail?

I had forgotten my guitar strap as I had placed it in another of my guitar cases. I was fifteen minutes away from starting my show and had to come up with a strap. thanks to Dan, the maintenance person, I was spared. I guess Clint Eastwood's character in "Grand Torino" was correct: you can fix most any problem with some string and duct tape.

The show was a success and the acoustics of the room were grand! One of the best!
